On the 26th of March I received the following whatsapp message from Volkwagen South Africa, I did go on their website to confirm that my car might have the Takata Airbag Problem: Dear Valued Customer, We are contacting you about the potentially life-threatening recall TAKATA airbag campaign on your VOLKSWAGEN Polo Vivo. This recall addresses a potentially serious safety issue that requires your immediate attention. Alternatively, you can contact your nearest Volkswagen Dealer. On the 7th April 2025, I phoned VW Barons N1 City, gave them my VIN Number,and spoke to their service department. The Lady said they do not have stock to fix the problem. They will phone me back, I am still waiting. This is pathetic service. I do believe this is a serouis matter, but not to them.
