Basebone has taken AIRTIME off my Cellphone without written Authority or Conformation by me,When i contacted Basebone 2 weeks ago they rep**** "we will refund your the Airtime",2 werks later they do not answer my e,mails or phone calls, be aware people,Basebone,situated in Cape Town

Unapproved subscription Basebone has been taking my money for some subscription which I don't even know about. Amount of R6.09 per day. When I checked through my Telkom profile, this subscription is dated way back. I wrote an email, but I haven't gotten any response yet. All I want is for them to cancel the subscription and refund my money, please.

My son's Vodacom account has been debited with "Purchased Contect 2" since mid August. When querying we found it was a service called "Baseplay Max". We found a spammy SMS that says congratulations you have subscribed for a one day free trial, thereafter R15 per day. At the date and time of the so-called subscription my son was nowhere near his phone.

I found an SMS amongs many spammy Vodapay ones which informed me that I signed up and that I was being charged R7 a day for this service. I never signed up, I ALWAYS simply delete these SMSes and there is NO WAY that I signed up. I phoned Vodacom who claimed they cannot help, even though this service was reflecting on my Vodacom profile (so no, Vodacom, you have your hands dirty too!) they gave me Basebone's telephone number - when phoning to try to complain, I was promptly disconnected even before being connected. One has to wonder about the legitimacy of a company that just signs up unsuspecting non-wanting-to-be-customers without their knowledge in the hope that they will not notice just to get some money out of many many people, then, not making yourself available to bear the concequences. You owe me R35, which is not al lot, but how many other people lost a lot more before realising? Sis!
