I found an SMS amongs many spammy Vodapay ones which informed me that I signed up and that I was being charged R7 a day for this service. I never signed up, I ALWAYS simply delete these SMSes and there is NO WAY that I signed up. I phoned Vodacom who claimed they cannot help, even though this service was reflecting on my Vodacom profile (so no, Vodacom, you have your hands dirty too!) they gave me Basebone's telephone number - when phoning to try to complain, I was promptly disconnected even before being connected. One has to wonder about the legitimacy of a company that just signs up unsuspecting non-wanting-to-be-customers without their knowledge in the hope that they will not notice just to get some money out of many many people, then, not making yourself available to bear the concequences. You owe me R35, which is not al lot, but how many other people lost a lot more before realising? Sis!
