My 95-year-old grandmother has a policy with this company. They changed their service provider and closed the Dobsonville branch without notifying policyholders. We only discovered this when her payments stopped going through. I eventually traced them online and contacted them, but I never received proper answers. This matter was escalated in March 2025, and to date: No refund has been paid, even though it was confirmed in writing by Tsoelo Kitsane. Her contract was never amended as promised. Instead, she keeps receiving new policy cards to continue paying, while the company still owes her money. Every time I call, I am told the responsible person is unavailable or โbusy with clients.โ This has been going on for months with zero resolution. It is unacceptable that a 95-year-old client is treated this way. We demand urgent refund processing, contract correction, and accountability for the lack of communication. If not resolved, this will be escalated to the Ombudsman for Long-term Insurance. The owner is Tsoelo Kitsane

POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a poor, disgusting service from Bataung Memorial Tombstone, they tried to fill the big shoes of WEST Memorial Service but really messing up the brand, since the owner died , they just can't maintain the business, paid tombstone of our parents paid up, in Benoni branch acc opened 6yrs ago, since the tombstone not yet installed, what's they moved from Benoni office without informing customers, end of FEB we want to do tombstone unveiling, but the tombstone still not yet installed, they have a terrible service, from here i will go to the media to report them, Tshelo is not taking our call, will be told she is sick,

POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company is honestly a **** company I deposited an amount for a lay buy once and then needed the refund for the money even now I am still waiting a month later every time I communicate with a lady named Refiloe she keeps giving me excuses telling me about an imaginary manager who has never took their time to call me and explain what is going on ๐ก๐ก๐กand I know Iโm not the only person waiting for our refunds but honestly the service they give is just total bull****.

We have a service at 8 of the unvailing tombstones,the tombstone are not installed we are waiting for stones to be unavailable the manager dropped the call on us yesterday when we were trying to talk talk to him the employees told us that the work takes 5hours per stone tell me when will they finish what pixes me off is that they don't respect they customers am so ****ed ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ This people are not owned everything thing is paid for in full who ever is reading this please stop using this service as in Durban people were complaining that the service was done without the tombstone I mean what is that this people are ****ing taking us for granted this bulls **** stop using this service ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ no ****in planing bludy ****esers this bludy JP with no respect manager we are calling with no respect

They donโt deserve a star, not at all. They should revise their vision and mission. I am not the first person to complain about their service itโs substandard service yet they are expensive beyond words can describe. Their tombstone cracks, and the wording on the ledger is being erased when one compares it with other tombstones that have been erected years ago one can see that they just expensive for nothing they should be charging R1000.00 for the type of their tombstone. Since December 2019, to date nothing has been done to attend to the concerns we raised wrt to my late momโs tombstone the ledger is cracking and the engraving on the ledger is being erased. We as a family are disappointed beyond words can ever describe dissatisfaction and disappointment. I think legal intervention is the best for this case since we engaged them and they failed to deliver, the ombudsman also said they donโt cooperate.

Appalling service when it comes to tombstones. Contrary to CPA, they are very quick to take all the cash but tortoises when it comes to delivery. Promises & more contradictory promises with nothing to show / deliver! No contract but some flimsy marketing material handed over when one insists on something tangible! Maybe a question of clever blacks๐๐พ๐๐พ Is this because your market is mainly geared towards Blacks of African origin??? How do you expect us to support black excellence when they are so unprofessional and disappoint all the way๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ๐๐พ

Appalling service when it comes to tombstones. Contrary to CPA, they are very quick to take all the cash but tortoises when it comes to delivery. 1. Requested a tombstone refix and paid a deposit. They never took Any step after receiving the deposit for a month 2. I then requested a refund due to no service rendered by the company and Iโm still waitingโฆ itโs been 4 weeks. I have been calling almost every day and the lady from their Katlegong office keeps promising to remind the manager 3. The manager apparently is not allowed to interact with unhappy customers

I bought a tombstone for my dad at the beginning of November 2020. The head was installed without any problems. I was actually impressed with the service. They promised to come and put up the body after 2 weeks. Over 7 months later, I am still waiting. A made hundreds of calls to them and were given different stories and excuses every time. Earlier last month I asked for my refund and I was promised that it will be in my account in 7 days. Few weeks later, after many phone calls again, I am still waiting for my refund. This is really disturbing, as I wanted my father's burial site to be decent.
