Anthony Mellish / Batho Pele Electrical - not qualified
Paid contractor Anthony Mellish in full before work had to commence. Used sub standard materials, wrong materials and did not finish work as per agreed timeframe. **** on day of deadline that he is visiting his father in hospital but he was actually away with his girlfriend for the weekend. Had no choice but to hire a different contractor to finish the work as we were timebound seeing as we need to move into the residence being renovated. He damaged a wall so much so that it caused severe structural damage, worker damaged bath tub and he does not want to refund as apparently he does not have any funds. He promised to make a refund at first for the difference in funds but has failed to do so. Served with a letter of demand, he blatantly ignores us and now we are forced to sue him, incurring further costs. He blatantly lies and clearly is not qualified to do the work as he boasts that he can do. Do not use this company or individual.
