Paid BCR Electronics an assessment fee of R1125 (R562.5 each) on 8 Dec 2025 to diagnose our Defy fridge and AEG freezer. The technician said the Defy likely needed a new thermostat and the AEG a new compressor, and that the company would send a full report and repair quote. They only quoted for the AEG (unrepairable) after I phoned twice, finally responding on 22 December. For the Defy — despite multiple follow-ups — zero feedback, no report, no quotation even by late January 2026. Due to the complete lack of response, I had to get another service provider, who tested the thermostat (found it working 100%) and discovered the real issue was a restricted fan in the freezer compartment—not the thermostat at all. I requested a refund of the assessment fee for the Defy unit (since no service, report, or quotation was ever provided) via detailed email — complete silence. No reply, no refund, no accountability. Extremely poor communication, unprofessional service, and zero customer care. Avoid this company if you value your time and money. Disappointing experience — would not recommend.

No, no, no. If it wasn't for the fact that our electronics is/was still under warranty we will never choose this company. It is our 2nd appliance that they fix because of the warranty, first was our Samsung microwave. Had to send it back 3 times, my husband had to open the microwave himself to remove loose parts when we received it back. We take our Hisense TV to them also under warranty. After almost a month, if you phone and ask... the technician is always out or just arrived on site with no feedback. They had to pay us the R500 for the quotation back...that took almost 2 months. Not happy with this company at all. It is a pitty they are the repair agents for all the big brands if your products are still under warranty.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated! We took our TV in for repair, but instead of fixing it, the repairer caused even more damage. The screen panels were broken after the so-called repair, leaving the TV in worse condition than before. For weeks, no feedback from either the owner or the workers — no updates, no communication at all. To make matters worse, there are no cameras on the premises, which raises serious concerns about accountability. We paid in full for a complete assessment and damage report, but we never received the report — only a quotation listing some of the damages. After they completed repairs based on that quotation, they suddenly claimed there was additional damage that wasn’t mentioned before. This feels completely unprofessional and dishonest. Very poor service, no transparency, and no responsibility taken. I would strongly advise others to avoid this business.

WORST EVER!!!!Paid for quatation(R500), paid account in full(R6908.232).They can not fix my tv cause they dont know what they are doing.Now they dont want to give my money back.WORST EVER!!!!!Owner somewhere overseas no one to talk to?????

Unprofessional, unprepared and unreliable. Taking weeks to call, oder parts and provide feedback. Ordering parts without inspection. Technicians have no idea what they are doing.

My hisense washing maching was sent in for repairs as it was still under warranty, i came home to find the machine had been collected not being informed that they were going to collect it, my brother left a few pieces of clothing in it (we didnt know they were coming so we didnt remove it), was told that it would be done by the next week as they were waiting for parts, I picked up the clothing on friday only to find that it was wet as they decided to test the machine with the clothing in,i went to pic up the clothing only to find clothes were completely ruined because they left the clothes wet in the machine not caring to even dry it, i didnt even care to still say anything little did i know this was only the build up, here i was told that they are still waiting for parts and it should be here by monday, they said theyd call me soon as they are done for drop off, today i come home to find my machine standing in my driveway, not even in the house now im more annoyed walked around it and saw the front of it was scratched badly like it had been sc****d along something, i phoned about the scratches i was told to send photos, i did that now i open the thing to test it, it looks like they tested it because the washing powder was everywhere along the bin, i decided to just rinse it of as irretated as i already was so that i can test it, got the lead ready came to the plug all three Of the metal pins were half folded inwards i dont evwn know if this thing works!!!
