On Friday after we obtained legal travel documents from the Zambian embassy for a minor boy to go back to Zambia to his father(his mother who is an illegal immigrant and has abused him so the boy was placed into our protective custody by the welfare) and after receiving written consent from his father as well as from the Zambian police that his aunt may escort him back to his people the boy was detained at the border by an officer by the name of Gloria who falsely stated that the travel documents was forged. Even after we asked her to confirm with the Zambian embassy to clarify that the documents has not been tampered with she was very rude and said we must not tell her how to do her job. The boy just wanted to be reunited with the rest of his family before Christmas. Where do we report such gross negligence by an officer who is too scared to do her job properly and who is scared of the mother's threats who definitely does not have her son's best interest at heart.
