I have submitted a query on 30 October 2025 on the rates billed on account 0003009105. Despite an undertaking that adjustments would be processed, I have received no proof or confirmation that it has been actually done. The original dispute was submitted on 09/09/2025. This Municipality is in my humble view sleeping on the job.

I had a stand at Negester Retirement village on the outskirts of Bela Bela, which I sold. I notified Bela Bela Municipality on 20 April 2024 that the stand is not in my name anymore. I gave them the name of the new owner as well as the proving letters from the attorneys. I requested them to refund me for moneys in credit in my name. NO REACTION !!! My e-mail was sent to P. Thobela, V. Khube and RMR Masoga. I e-mailed the same officials again on 4 June 2024 with the same request. I received notification that P. Thobela has read my e-mail. NO FURTHER REACTION.!!!! I sent an e-mail to the same officials again on 17 June 2024. NO REACTION!!!! Please help.

We have been without power for 2 months now On Mbizi Farm Lodge after a transformer have been vandalised for stealing the copper wire. The municipality has been contacted on a daily basis Several times a day. but the ball is passed from one person to another. That is if the person answers his/her phone. We are going into month 3 with no indication when it will be fixed.

I have trued to search the Bela Municipal website in order to determine the number of kilolitres water permitted per ratepayers household in order to 1. remain within the allocated amount before having to pay penalities, however there is NO UPDATE on their site for 2017 rates. The only ones available are way back. What is the reason? No longer qualified personnel able to update database,? They are certainly quick to up-the-rates but pathetically slow to provide info to consumers, in ALL DEPARTMENT, not only water... NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!
