Poor Service Belgravia Jewellers (Daimond Box).

I would caution consumers on this jewellery store in the Cradlestone Mall.

The first emerald ring I purchased (looked great in photos on their website) turned out to be a cheap import. Stones started falling out within days - very inferior quality. It took several weeks to receive the ring and we personally returned the ring to their store where we offered an 'upgraded' ring at considerable additional cost. The new ring would be made 'inhouse'. Not wishing to disappoint my wife I relented. The replacement ring took several months to complete and we had to do all the follow ups for updates. They didn't bother. They also squabbled about who would pay for the courier fees (R100 - honestly). The new ring looks OK but I have requested a valuation certificate since November 2023 and they keep on telling me that they will send it 'shortly' but never do (tried to tell me that they have had e-mail problems) but surely not for the last 3 months! I am now very suspicious. Overall a very tardy and poor experience. Would most definitely not recommend this store to anyone.
