So called Upgraded order - just a ****
Even 1 star is one star too much. Unfortunately I didn't do my research before and that was a big mistake. Now I see that other people were taken for a ride too. I ordered an 18cm pot but received a 20cm one with a note that my order got upgraded! What BS this is. Sent them several mails, tried to phone, but no luck. If you want to keep your sanity, keep away from these people.

Terrible quality. Don’t buy their cookware
The pots came broken, and they couldn’t even offer overnight delivery for the replacements. Told me that the cost would be on me. Don’t buy their cookware. It’s so expensive but the quality is terrible.

The pots came broken, and they couldn’t even offer overnight delivery for the replacements. Told me that the cost would be on me. Don’t buy their cookware. It’s so expensive but the quality is terrible.

Lack of Customer Service
I purchased a set of knives from Takealot as a gift in 2021. I ordered the Berlinger Haus 6-Piece Titanium Coating Knife Set with Hanger - Carbon Pro (from Takealot) and noticed on, 25 July 2023, that the titanium coating was flaking off of the knife. I sent a complaint to Takealot who referred me to Berlinger Haus directly. I then e-mailed them on info@berlingerhaus.co.za (the oly e-mail address I could find for them) and have not received any response or feedback at all. I find this lack of customer service very concerning for a big brand like Berlinger Haus and am extremely disappointment in them. I would not recommend their products to anyone and will never purchase / use this brand again

Bad Quality
I bought a Berlinger haus breadbin from Takealot on the 21 Sept 23, and the quality of the bread bin is not to my satisfaction I then logged a return for the bin on the 12 Oct. Take a lot declined my request saying I should have logged the return within 7 days whilst their website says 30 days. The bin is flimsy to say the least. And I would like my money back so I can order something else. This is the 2nd bin from this brand that I buy the 1st one I have had for 3 years, and it broke. This one we used for a week and it is clear that it will not last. It is made cheaply and not worth the amount paid for it even if it was on sale. The quality of Berlinger Haus items is ****py they now sell nonsense.

No feedback from Customer Service
I sent an email to their customer service (info@berlingerhaus.co.za) on 1 August regarding a Knife Set and I have not had a response from them at all. Do they not care about their customer? I will never ever get any of their products ever again

Very Bad Service - DO NOT SUPPORT
This company does not answer calls. Purchased a Stand mixer for +-R3500. One of the components internally broke and been trying to contact them to get a referral of some sort to have it fixed since nobody supplies their spares but no response whatsoever.....sitting with an expensive machine that cant be fixed.

I too bought a set of Berlinger haus cookware and am totally shocked at the peeling and flaking of the coating. I did write to them and they have never given me the courtesy of a reply despite reminders. Just shows you how uninterested they are of their clients. Do not recommend anyone purchasing their cookware.

Diamond coating peeling of frying pan.
Received a Non Stick Diamond coated frying pan as a gift. 6 months of use the coating is peeling off. Seriously disappointed with this rather expensive kitchen item. I made it a bag cover when I first received the pan to keep it from being scratched by other pots in the post drawer. In retrospect would have been better to have bought 2 cheaper pans.
