I had one of the worst customer experiences at BestDrive Bethlehem. I took my brand-new Audi in for a simple slow puncture repair, and their staff managed to severely damage the mag while removing the tyre — deep scratches around most of the rim.
When I pointed it out, all I got was a casual “sorry.” The owner’s attitude was defensive and dismissive when I insisted they replace the mag. After a 45-minute argument, they gave me a letter admitting fault — but said they would only “repair” it, not replace it.
Audi confirmed that the mag cannot be repaired and must be replaced. A new mag from Audi costs R21,000, yet BestDrive refused to take responsibility.
In the end, I had to go through my insurance to resolve the issue.
Avoid BestDrive Bethlehem at all costs. I have photos and a copy of their written admission as proof — don’t risk your car with them.
