My 82 year old mom recently purchased a few items from Best Home and Electric Town centre Mitchell's Plain and 1 of the items was a microwave. When it was purchased, my mom was informed there was no stock available of the microwaves and that it would be delivered the following week, when the store would be restocked and it has now been 2 weeks with no communication or explanation from the Sales agent in the store or the Store manager. The only communication I've had with the store has been initiated and prompted by me, with blatant disinterest and unprofessionalism from the store Salesman to the Store Manager to the Query investigator that was assigned to my case, when apprised of my query. After my, in my opinion, justifiable rant to the Investigator, she irritatedly and dismissively assured me she would escalate my case to the Regional manager or someone to that effect and then feedback to me and subsequent to the Salesman's flippant attitude over the last 2 weeks, the manager of the store's vague feedback relayed by the Investigator and her telephonic interaction with me, I felt compelled to raise my complaint on this site now, because not one of them displayed any form of authentic compassion or empathy toward my mom's plight, a now customer of Best Home and Electric, or even tried to see how they could at least try to assist my mom with acquiring a microwave from any one of their other stores.
