Poor Service & Misallocation of Paid Spare Part
I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received at Bidvest McCarthy Mahindra Randburg regarding my recent parts order.
On Tuesday morning, I ordered and paid for a spare part for my Mahindra S4 bakkie. I was assured that the part would arrive by Thursday, and I made arrangements to collect it on Friday. However, upon arrival, I was informed that my part had been given to another customer, despite it being allocated and invoiced under my name. I was further told that this other customer provided proof of payment, even though their part was only due to arrive on Monday.
This misallocation has left me without a vehicle for the entire weekend, causing significant inconvenience. What’s more concerning is the lack of accountability from the parts manager, who remained seated behind his desk without offering any assistance or explanation.
I expect immediate resolution of this issue, including priority delivery of the replacement part and a formal explanation of how such a mix-up occurred. Additionally, I urge Bidvest McCarthy Mahindra Randburg to review its processes to prevent similar incidents in the future.
