I took my Nissan Qashqai to Bidvest McCarthy Germiston for major service on the 15th of December 2025 and their technician failed to switch off the engine light so he and service lady advised me to bring the vehicle back on the 17th of December for finalization of his work and indeed I did that and upon my collection of the car(17th December) the service lady called to inform me that the car is ready for collection and take that we quoted you again for putting a chemical in your car for regeneration however I was quoted the same regeneration on major service, so when I asked why am I being quoted twice for same thing and yet again why you put a chemical that you can't even disclose the name of into my car without my concern then heated arguments started with their Principal manager and he said they won't release my car without that additional payment so I paid that extra amount of R800 to release my car.I logged the case with Nissan South Africa for further action.
