When going to Toyota Pietermaritzburg Armitage branch ( parts department )bring a chair to sit on , You would swear we are at home affairs .We v been standing in a line for more than 40 minutes waiting to be served . I don’t know if there’s only 1 person working in this department. It’s my second time coming the last time I left after standing for 30 minutes again , this time I don’t have a choice I’ll stand cause both my car batteries are flat , last time I left and decided to use the spare key . The service is slow and pathetic .

Bidvest McCarthy Toyota you are the best, your efficient and friendly staff keeps us coming back at all times. Mr. Prenesh Siripaul & Mr. Eddie Ritchie, you guys are the best. You have been very professional on your everyday duties, your calls and emails, constant follow up to check if the service rendered is up to our expectations. Zero help from the parts department, only excuses and excuses but no real service or assistance! Gregory - you wasting your time with this guy Ariffa - cannot convey a telephone message totally unhelpful Parts Manager cannot even offer an apology yet they messed up. I was told that if I need to replace the rubber trailer plug cover which cost under R100 from elsewhere i would need to purchase a whole new towbar from them which costs way over R5000. Bunch of time wasters, really!

Took my car there for service in April 20 2021..which i collected the following day. I noticed a scratch which wasn't there before. I called them and inquired of what had happened..i was asked to send a picture ...which i did via email. A whole passed without any communication i called again, the consultant claimed that they were about to watch the footage of the incident...another passed ...nothing no communication..i went to their branch and asked for the consultant her name is Roxanne because i had been in communication with her all this time. I showed her the scratches and she came with a i report on my car when they first recieved it which stated that i had scratches on my car on the side which was correct. Those scratches were on the left side of the car.. but the new scratch was on the right side of the car.. their report didn't even state which side the scratches were on... I told her the scratches on the left were there because they were made by my children i know about them.. Then she concluded by saying she will hand the matter over to her mananger..that was last week Friday till today nothing has been said..no communication at all. I no longer want to call them because I'm wasting my money trying to contact them while they are the ones who damaged my car.
