Dear all.
Please note that BKV is operated with ********* business values.
The owner comes off as kind and knowledgeable. However when exposed of his poor workmanship and knowledge from the eal profesionals, he tries to play victim.
He was contracted to do brakes all round on a truck of mine which was a complete disaster.
Upon testing there was literally no brake pressure at all.
We called him out and he did return to try and correct his mistakes.
After 2 weeks of him and his apprentice day in and out bleeding the brakes over and over, I lost confidence and told him I will rather attend to the problem myself.
This is when I found he had charged me for reconditioned parts he supp**** that were still faulty.
Brake cylinders that he was suppose to replace/recondition were only spray painted. We stripped it and found contamination on the inside as well as blocked bleeding nipples. (Thus I found his knowledge in brake hydraulics is not to specification).
Correcting these repairs, I found that one of the new parts fitted had also been faulty. I stripped the part and found the seals damaged. He refused to refund me due to me stripping the part.
Best of all is that I went directly to the supplier (ADD) and found the exact same part, same brand for a price of R975.40. BKV charged me R8500.00 for the same part.
So be careful of these guys.
I have additional evidence of his inferior repair work and ********* business practice if anybody needs it.
Be careful of this wolf in sheep's clothing.

18 Aug 2023, 08:19Dear Lance. All of this slander after almost a year later... And you have yet to approach me even during my time spent repairing the vehicle about all but one of your above listed "stories," us not taking a part back that you stripped.
Also note that all RECONDITIONED Parts are spray painted, as to ensure the cosmetic condition of the part is more than just handing our customer a reconditioned unit. It's about doing the small, extra things that can make a big difference.
Evidently, the concept of first alerting the supplier of a faulty part before stripping has been challenging to comprehend. Always let the supplier strip and inspect. That is basic company policy practiced everywhere. Bringing this to any supplier at the time, and not a year later via a review, says more about you as a business than it does me.
As for the rest of your slander and half truths, I would like to try setting our personal differences aside and abstain from sullying the reputation of our individual Companies. BKV will gladly address any legitimate business related concerns professionally during working hours.
