VERY BAD
AVOID THEM, you will only loose your money and will have to pay for someone else to do the waterproofing work again. Andrew Blake is an excellent salesman but his speech is totally empty of meaning, his company doesn’t provide any reliable services and when you start realizing that, he will no more respond to mail/whatsapp/ phone calls and drag works beyond acceptable and finally never finish them. And the worst of all, craftsmanship is so bad that on our roof it started leaking before works were finished. AVOID THEM!

Blake Brothers Weather Protection - very poor workmanship
Blake Brothers in Edgemead is an unprofessional, poor quality company. Owner Andrew Blake made promises that were never kept, and the result of their painting and waterproofing work is damp walls with bubbling paint, after paying tens of thousands of rands. I do not recommend using this company. I have since heard firsthand accounts of other horror stories from home owners who made the mistake of using Blake Brothers for painting, waterproofing, damp proofing and other construction work.

They don't honour their after work guarantee
Paid R80k for waterproofing in Dec 2020 and we have never had a 100% waterproof pantry and braai area since. Last year it took them 9 months to come back to us - finally agreed to fix the falling roof tiles, but am yet to sort out the massive leaking roof inside the home - Now Andrew simply ignores my whatsapps and emails. Very Disappointed, do not use.

Worst Builders Ever. A Zero.
Worst builders ever. Caused more damage than actual building. The manager was rarely onsite to manage builders. Took 2 goes to lay a floor and it has since lifted up. Sent guys onsite who admitted they did not know how to do the work. Awful company. Stay well clear.
