I am a Telkom customer for cellphone services. I and my wife get marketing calls multiple times a day and several days a week. We block their telemarketing number, have registered with telkom not to call us, yet Telkom staf at their shop say they can do nothing to stop these calls. This is clearly a breach of POPIA. Is anyone else having these problems and can we take up a class action against Telkom so they do follow POPIA and stop harassing their clients.
I bought 2 cupboards from Game at N1 City in August 2022. Their over enthusiastic staff member smashed my tail light when loading the boxes. At the time the shift manager came and saw the damage and gave me the Store Managers details. I spoke with him and he said he would sort it and to send him the quote for repair. Many excuses and ignoring my insurance company shows me that Game do not cover you for any damages they cause. Avoid this store if you do not want them to damage your car. R5000 down for being a once loyal customer.
I am very unhappy with Santam and how they have managed my car insurance. 1. While visiting Game at N1 city to collect 2 cupboards. Game staff damaged my car when loading and Santam is not chasing the claim with Game as Game is not responding, but I have to pay to repair my damaged car. 2. A drunk Spanish fan drove into my car when I was stationary at traffic lights. He admitted it was his fault and that he had been drinking and was texting on his cell phone and not looking at the road. He then drove away but I got his name and vehicle details. Again I am being told I have to pay as they are not contacting the vehicle owner, despite me having the driver on video admitting fault.
Worst builders ever. Caused more damage than actual building. The manager was rarely onsite to manage builders. Took 2 goes to lay a floor and it has since lifted up. Sent guys onsite who admitted they did not know how to do the work. Awful company. Stay well clear.
I host a property with Booking.com and without any notification they have closed/cancelled their customer services telephone line and if I raise a question through their intranet it is deleted and not responded to. I still get invoices but it is as if Booking.com does not want to help their clients anymore.
I run a gust house in Langebaan and have purchased MTN LTE for my Internet connection. It has been nothing but a problem where for the first month it would not even connect. MTN staff have a policy of get rid of the customer by making stuff up rather than get our product to work. Eventually then replaced the sim rather than keep doing a "reset" and the device connected and worked for a few weeks. For the past 6 weeks it connects for about an hour and then drops its connection with the Internet light going red. Again I went back to MTN who said it was not keeping it "fixed" protocol and the again did a rest. It worked for a few days and then went back into dropping its connection. While I cannot get a working Internet I am still paying full price for no service and there is no motivation from MTN to help. Yesterday I went into the shop and was given another "get rid of the customer" response where I was told to call tech support on 083 135 and they will help me. The number is for number porting or Covid assistance not tech support the Staff member, Azri gave me his cell number to call if I had any problems. So I called and the call just gets cancelled. This has led me to post here. If the MTN service works then great, but if not they are the worst company to deal with. A total sham, scam, rip off.
VFS Global is now the company I have to deal with to process my permanent Visa application. I have used their website on many occasions as they are constantly changing the requirements and have no point of authority or accountability. The lunatics are running the asylum.<br> Latest is I go to file for my permanent ID and am told that not only do I need a police check from SA but also from my country of origin even though I have not lived there in over 5 years. So I apply and wait for my police check which takes 2 months. I then go the VFS website and cannot book a meeting. I now have to book a new meeting and pay all over again and then claim a refund which the website says I will now only get R850 not R1350 back. But the website will not accept payment using a credit card or debit card only by going into a standard bank and paying over the counter and wait 3 days for it to reflect against my application. I hope their system does not change again during the 3 day wait. The advice given every time is different from the previous official. No one has a clear understanding of what to do.
