My husband booked a spa treatment for me and my foreign friend. He also asked if the restaurant is open on Sunday as it was father's day. On arrival we proceeded with my friends husband and their 2 small kids of 8 & 4 to find a table before we checked in at the Spa. The waiters helped arrange a table as the place was busy. We asked to see the menu so we could order food for the 2 kids whom both are VEGETRIAN. Unbeknown, the menu was a set menu which my husband and the children's father could only eat from. However, there was nothing on the menu for the children. We asked to see the manager who in turn called the Owner. We were told that there was nothing they would or could do for the children. We asked if my husband could quickly run to woolies to buy 2 small cheese and tomatoe sandwiches. Peter, the owner, said no its against policy and he refused to make them in his kitchen because his 9 chief s are to busy. We even offered to make it in the kitchen, only two sandwitches? He said the Spa and Restaurant were 2 seperate entities and it was to bad, he couldn't help or accommodate us. We found out that the Spa is owned by Peter after we cancelled our treatments. Shame on you Peter.
