Words as per email to the dealership: Please note that I would like to bring under your attention that there is some faults on the vehicle upon delivery today 16 July 2024.
- Radio not working as it should ( Screen is dead ) - Aircon is not working ( When you switch on the aircon it makes a noise from the A/C Pump but not cooling )
Please note that the vehicle is scheduled to go to a authorized fitment and repair center on Thursday 18 July 2024 for the following:
Full Diagnostic on faults on vehicle as well as review on service that you said was done on this vehicle and we need the Dekra 360 point checklist that was done on vehicle as you advised yesterday that you are busy checking the vehicle.
Your company will be liable for all costs on fixing errors and all service parts that was not replaced like it should have been as per the CPA regulations. None of these faults were indicated to us as buyers, even after the deposit was paid towards your company. The only fault that was brought under our attention was the scratches on the front bumper, which I felt had to be repaired but was only polished out.
We have not received a delivery note with the delivery of the car, where all faults could have been indicated / addressed? The only document was the tax invoice for the payment of the vehicle.
Upon receiving the vehicle we have also not received the roadworthy , change of ownership signed documents, ID Copies etc. Should this not have been delivered with the vehicle?
They promised to take responsibility for the costs however this was one of the baddest experiences i had ever with a dealership
