DO NOT USE BLS - terrible service. Passport took 60+ days, we kept getting phone calls to collect and when we advised the caller we paid courier (R200 EACH! for my husband and myself, NOTE: delivery from the same place to the same place) - days would go by with no feedback, when I eventually was worn out I fetched the passport myself only to be rudely informed I would not be getting the refund. Also discovered the passports had been issued three weeks before and were just sitting there (I am one of multiple complaints on this issue) I then noted that my husband and I had different validity dates on the visa's and when I enquired I was again rudely informed to go google the embassy point of contact and ask them, this absolutely annoyed me as we are charged a R226 "service fee" - again EACH! We are each also charged R26 for "sms" - I did not receive a single update from them, my husband received one message on the day the application was submitted. When you arrive at BLS, security inform you that BLS have no parking to offer their customers and straight up parking on the pavement outside the estate is at your own risk for security as well as potential traffic fines.
