Very bad service. I had my mother's birthday party there. very very bad service. I could not even enjoy my time there. I had to run after glasses and cutlery. I didnt even finish my food and the waiter took my plate. I would not recommend anybody there

In 2022, a function was hosted at this restaurant, in which no alcohol was served. The next day, I spoke to my friends and there was a general consensus that everyone felt sick later that evening and in the morning. As somebody with a serious autoimmune, this was a major set back for me and could have landed me in hospital. The owner denied any claim that there was contamination and proceeded to gaslight us by saying we consumed too much alcohol. Alcohol does not cause a runny stomach and a fever. At the end of the day, the owner claiming that we drank too much alcohol is a serious allegation as many people drove themselves there and could not have possibly got behind the wheel while drunk. At the end of the day, only the chefs know what happened in the kitchen. The owner claimed that a small handful of people ate takeaway beforehand, which had nothing to do with food poisoning. I have a team of lawyers and am protected by the Consumer Protection Act. We have the right to food safety.

A friend and I went for cake and tea at Blue Crane and the tea garden was lovely. Sitting in the shade until beautiful trees (everywhere). felt like we were out of the city. Her 2 year old son enjoyed the tortoise and the jungle gym. The chocolate cake I had was delicious.

RATIAL UNDER TONE WE JUST had a bad experience at BLUE CRANE RESTAURANT It seems as if u r white then the service at the place r better the the service towards black or other clours . We sat down wen 3 white ladies were ordering their food we ordered drinks n afterwards breakfast they got their food they finished their food we waited for a long time Only after we enquired about ur food then they said it's almost done I was EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED IN THE SERVICE THAT WE RECEIVED AT THE RESTUARANT I would not want to go there if that is the way blacks n other colour people are treated In this day and age we don't expect that restaurants still have these ratial UNDER tones

While having lunch at The Blue Crane Restaurant today, we walked through the indoor bar area where three people were smoking.

It is against the law for any restaurant to allow smoking in an area not separate from non smokers. I complained about it but nothing was done about it as every time we walked to the buffet area, they were still smoking indoors, watching TV.

We were a party of four people. The waitress listened to our complaint and went to the bar, but nothing was done. The smokers were still there when we left
