Total scammers! I had the opportunity to see an apartment and was advised about a lease/admin fee but upon receiving an application form, it stated I need to pay a non-refundable application fee. Never have I experienced such craftiness for someone who’s from a rough & scary neighbourhood! Even the streets has greater integrity!

These people are taking a serious dump on the Consumer Protection Act. It’s a nice way of conning money out of people. You don’t even have to do realty anymore; all you do is take applications to make money.

“A non-refundable application fee is actually very common, as it proves to the landlord / agent that the applicant is serious about the place, has done his homework and is confident that he will be approved.” - Really?

It more likely proves how desperate you are for money, how disgustingly crooked your business ethics are along with your disregard for people and the country’s statutes!

On the other hand; I received excellent service from a realty agent from ICS Estate Agency and got a bigger apartment for less a few street down. No application fees, no hidden costs, no hidden agenda’s. Kudos to you ICS; Blueice (neither water or ice is blue) can learn a thing or three from veterans like you!

If you reading this as a consumer, don’t rent from them nor trust them with your property! Coz surely all you want is to receive your income and have your property looked after.
