Misleading Promises and Poor Outcomes

The director of this recruiting company approached me about a role with one of their clients. After just one interview, the client extended an offer. While the compensation package was about 25% lower than my expectations, the director assured me there would be performance-based increases after six months and potential commission opportunities, which convinced me to accept the role.

Unfortunately, none of these promises were true or even on the table. The role ended abruptly after just three months, leaving me in a very challenging position, especially since I had turned down a significantly better offer to take this job.

This experience reflects the lack of transparency and integrity of this company, and I would caution others about relying on their assurances.
