The director of this recruiting company approached me about a role with one of their clients. After just one interview, the client extended an offer. While the compensation package was about 25% lower than my expectations, the director assured me there would be performance-based increases after six months and potential commission opportunities, which convinced me to accept the role. Unfortunately, none of these promises were true or even on the table. The role ended abruptly after just three months, leaving me in a very challenging position, especially since I had turned down a significantly better offer to take this job. This experience reflects the lack of transparency and integrity of this company, and I would caution others about relying on their assurances.

Important Announcement Regarding My Recent Job Application Experience On January 15, 2024, I had an interview scheduled with Bloem & Hofmeyr for a potential position in the solar industry with Stage Zero. Unfortunately, my experience with them has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated, and I feel compelled to share my story. I was initially thrilled to be shortlisted for a Direct Sales Consultant position after being contacted on January 8, 2024. However, my optimism turned to dismay as the process unfolded. They requested a revised CV in a different format, which I promptly provided. To my shock, they later sent me an altered version of my CV and requested additional details, which I filled in despite my discomfort. During the week, I was asked to supply 10 successful sales and client details, which I declined due to privacy concerns under the POPIA Act. Despite diligently completing the required forms and submitting necessary documents, my interview experience was far from professional. Martine Hofmeyr called me half an hour before our scheduled interview time, requesting an early start. Unable to accommodate, we began at the agreed-upon time. To my surprise, I learned during the interview that my previous employment at Vox in 2022 made me ineligible for the position – information not disclosed earlier. I am deeply upset by Bloem & Hofmeyr's unprofessional handling of my application, from altering my CV without consent to not disclosing crucial policy information. This has left me frustrated and disappointed, especially considering I am currently employed. I feel it is important to share my experience on platforms like LinkedIn to raise awareness about Martine Hofmeyr and her business ethics. Everyone deserves fair treatment and accurate information when applying for jobs. Thank you, Adam Brown

This recruitment company doesn’t care about candidates. They don’t know how stressful it is to search for a job .Attending that interview & dealing with anxiety and nerves prior to that interview.Only for them not to even provide feedback. It’s important to be informed about the outcome.I mean how can you inform me about the interview and not provide outcome? It would be nice to know where you went wrong so that you don’t repeat those mistakes next time. They are really not professional and I’m so disappointed in them.

A Recruitment company that is suppose to know the basic conditions of employment. Dont treat their employees with respect and force them to work extended hours with NO overtime pay or time off. Verbal abuse is an under statement!

BHSA is the best recruitment agency I've ever dealt with. - They are very professional. - They respond to emails and they also keep you updated on your application either by a phone call or email. - They are very detail about their policies and procedures and they make you feel at home and comfortable to communicate with them at any time.

A month ago I called Blum & Hofmeyr offices requesting IRP5 for my tax return. Was advised by the receptionist that I cannot speak to someone from HR as they don't take calls I must send email. I emailed them and made follow up after a week. Again I was asked to resend email, I did that after the weeks with no feedback from them. I called their offices on the 25/08. Receptionist told me the same story that I can't speak to HR ,later I got reply that they want exact dates that I worked and the company. I did exactly that. I got a reply from an Elsabe van der Merve telling me that she doesn't have records and she can't help me. What kind of an institution is this that can't have records and not even explain what is going on even a ****a shop can do better than this. I waited a month for their reply and only thing they can do is slap me with an email saying guess what we don't have time for you we can't help you. See what you do.
