BNI doesnt work for all, just the chosen few

What a rollercoaster !! Members making appointments and not keeping them, not being held accountable, and even heads of committees allowing members to threaten other members in the organisation. They want you to engage in a certain number of meetings and such, yet are never available for these meetings they expect you to uphold attendance to. They submit **** referrals to motivate stats and awards, with no accountability for the relevance of the referrals. Even though one doesnt actuallywork FOR BNI, you're hauled into quasi disciplinary hearings with inadequate communication and preparation, one lamb against a commitee of lions. No impartial analysis, just banding together to do as they see fit, with no further explanation. Even citing policies which they refuse to elaborate on. A disappointing experience that taught me a lot about what to look out for in business network models.
