Two emails, several sms's and four calls from Discovery Bank. While I talked to an agent at 8.30am, they continue to call and harrass me, then hang up the phone. I tried calling back but again they just cut me off. If you arent going to speak like a decent civil human being stop harrassing me !! Honestly. I have work to do. These are constantly interrupting my work flow and clients.

Ongoing ***** case, and after promising me a letter from the bank to forward to a merchant to refund me (they say 24-48hrs) and a week later still no letter. Yesterday I was on hold for 40min and they assured me it was being escalated (again) and I'd have a call back by 5pm. Of course, that didnt happen. I'm now on hold for 29min and counting to speak to a manager as no one at Discovery can tell me why they arent doing their job ?! 5 days to get feedback from a formal complaint and 8 working days to close an account ? Well then lets get the ball rolling because I am fed up now. What do I pay bank fees for ? Shame on you Discovery !!!!
Yesterday, the driver of an MTE Xpress vehicle travelling down Koeberg Rd towards the suburb of Tableview did not wait his turn and merge into the lane as per etiquette and road rules. Instead, in bumper to bumper traffic and in the rain, he insisted on forcing his way on the left hand side of y car and push his way into the lane. At first I stood my ground, and his not yield as I am not required to, but he continued to force his way into the lane without an indicator in an aggressive manner, almost causing an accident and serious damage to my car. I had passengers as well as my 12 yr old daughter in the car. We took photos of the vehicle and have dash cam footage, as well as witnesses. I called the company and reported this incident. I am appalled at the manner in which this driver acted. He happened to drive almost to my home road and when I stopped and asked him why he drove in this dangerous manner he ignored me and carried on collecting parcels, all while the next client he was collecting from laughed their heads off. Disgusting behaviour, I will be laying a case of reckless endangerment on the road this morning.
DSV is supposed to deliver my credit card. Despite it being 6 days and having been on hold for over 30min, I've also been cut off 5 times. I simply do not get replies to my emails either, to book a time and day for delivery. I am livid, what ******* service indeed. I'll be reporting this to Discovery Bank.
Wow, shame on Total Bonjour garage shop at Melkbos on the west coast road. You price your 80gr Shirwood biltong snapsticks at R82 (which is around R1000 a kilo, in perpspective) when all shops sell it at R65. Your excuse ? You're a convenience store. Not only did the Mugg and Bean staff serve other clients before me (we were in a queue) but now this. Its more convenient NOT to support you in future. TotalEnergies @muggandbean @shirwood
Not only have I had to argue with Azoza to refund me according to my insurance policy schedule, when THEIR service provider couldnt attend to a home emergency, they have now sent an email with a payment advice and the money is clearly NOT in my bank account. I am going to have to open a case of ***** as when trying to call the offices everyone is perpetually in meetings and not one staff member can assist. Shocked beyond belief. Time to find a new insurer.
Santam assured me they'd send an SOS electrician under my policy, to attend to an electrical problem at my home. They didnt do so. After 2 hours, they seemed surprised that their service technician hadnt been to my home. They told me to get my own private electrician and said they'd cover the call out and first hours labour. Now, the refuse to reimburse me. What a disappointment, I think I need to re-look at options for home insurance. The broker has been promising to get back to me for DAYS now and just cant seem to answer my questions. I also cant seem to speak to an actual PERSON at Santam. Off I go to find a new insurer.
Centric Radiology, a subsidiary of Morton and Partners, refused to give me a copy of my mammogram results. The Constitution and the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) guarantee that you have the right to access information held by the state (and private entities) that is needed to protect or exercise your rights. This includes your medical records. I had to threaten the staff member with my lawyer, the PAIA act and a report to the HPCSA and Blouberg Netcare Hospital, in order to get a copy. The practise manager then responds to my email complaint, by alluding that my results weren't ready. This cannot be true as I had my mammogram done at 9am yesterday and asked for results a day later at 3pm. The staff at the front desk assured me they were in fact ready. Confusing, right ? I think that a better manner to handle this would be to check with staff what was aid, what happened, and take the time to CALL the client. An weak apology based on differing stories does not sit well with me. I have a right to my records and their staff should be better trained to assist clients.
