I RARELY make a complaint , this is my first hello Peter review but I’m extremely disappointed by Boa Sea Points customer service. I have been doing my nails for years all over Cape Town and expected way more from Boa Salons. My nails took around 3 hours + to do a simple short, square acrylic set (no nail art). After a week all my acrylic nails have popped off , it’s been exactly a week and 3 days now since getting my nails done. My nails were all different lengths, the acrylic was bumpy, uneven, thick, lifting and chipping. The colour and reference picture I used looked nothing like the service I received. While my nail tech was friendly and welcoming, this review is not about her character but rather about the shocking customer service I received afterwards. When I called to make a complaint, I was told it was “time for a fill” and that nothing could be done, despite the fact that my nails did not even last a full week. All I asked for was a refund. When I requested the consultant’s name during the call, the phone was put down on me. I called back three to four times and my calls were ignored. Half an hour later, I called again and was given a number to send my complaint to, which I did, but yet still no response. This entire experience was pathetic. My time and money were wasted, and I will never return to this salon, not even if they offer a free fix. I am well aware of the correct salon standards and service expectations, and this was far below them. Out of all the salons and nail techs I have been to in Cape Town, this is by far the worst experience I have had and mind you the only formal complaint I’ve ever made. Absolutely disappointing.

I am so disappointed in the service I have received especially because I am a regular customer. The technician that did my nails did a terrible job, I haven’t even had my nails for a week but they have already started lifting. None of the nails are the same length, they are all odd lengths. No care was put into my cuticles and the nails job just looks lazy and unprofessional. The acrylic application is bumpy and uneven. It honestly looks like I did my own nails at home (pretty sure I would have done it better) On top of that, my nail technician could not stop complaining about doing my nails and went on about the amount of effort she had to do. Usually I love getting my nails done but this experience was very off putting and I don’t think Boa Beauty will be seeing me again.

Ex worker When I started I was so excited but quickly I realized that I will be traumatize. Please consider they are unprofessional and rude. HR do not listen to assistant managers they only listen to Favorites Nails Technician who alot of them are Bullies. A typical day starts with lots of complains and, being messy. We as the assistant managers have to clean after them, I felt so embarrassed when customers have to walk through the kitchen to use the toilet because it's so disgusting, they only have a few Cups for customers to use( they only maybe have 3 teas****s )and they have dirty kitchen cloths please do not drink any of their beverages, ( for such a big company made for women right they can at least buy an water dispenser we the assistant managers have the pour a glass of water from a bottle My GoD)(HR) expect the poor cleaning lady and assistant managers to Clean after grown women. AND THE TOWELS they use for the Nails stands it smells like dirty old feet they do not use any proper laundry detergent if they wash it maybe they use one scoop of washing powder because it needs to last until the end of the month ( they don't care if it smells) and as assistant managers you need to figure things out by yourself and they do not give you proper training and the rundown for a typical day you run around like a headless chicken the assistant managers are literally walking around a FEAR because they are so afraid of losing their jobs It's A fear culture because you never know what Nail technician do not like you, you are not allowed to voice your opinion and stand up for yourself because they RUN to HR. It's All pink and pretty but under prettiness is abuse of assistant managers and the cleaning lady. The toilet is disgusting my goodness the period blood the nasty hair, the p**p but who is there to clean the assistant managers they are belittle and insulted, name calling the abuse and HR DO NOT CARE, because it need to look pretty and pink, full, busy for the Instagram reels right.

I went to Boa Sea Point and needed the bathroom before my treatment. I had to go through the area where the the******s spend off time. It is filthy and loud. The bathroom had no toilet paper, and when I asked for some was told they don’t have any. Also no soap to wash hands. Are these the******s using their dirty, unwashed hands on our hands and feet??? Beautician did not appear qualified and my gel hands lasted 3 days!!! I have tried phoning and emailing the company to discuss, with no success. Cheap, but totally unprofessional!!

My lady who did my nails at Boa Seapoint ,l almost get a heart attack she wear longest length of lashes like spiders ,they looks ugly and dirty not professional at all it's too dramatic long nails for a beauty the****** ,they must set up rules what to wear and not otherwise not different with a public pub or bar the place looks like a Mega factory of fashion competition you don't feel comfortable all eyes on you l would prefare a small environment with 5 or 6 the******s safe for Covid.

My lady who did my nails at Boa Seapoint ,l almost get a heart attack she wear longest length of lashes like spiders ,they looks ugly and dirty not professional at all it's too dramatic long nails for a beauty the****** ,they must set up rules what to wear and not otherwise not different with a public pub or bar the place looks like a Mega factory of fashion competition you don't feel comfortable all eyes on you l would prefare a small environment with 5 or 6 the******s safe for Covid.
