I purchased lamp shades on 19 December 2025. They were delivered damaged\broken on 22 December 2025. I was told by the delivery person to contact the customer care number to report the issue as he could not take the items back. I did this within minutes of receiving the broken items. I was then given a reference number and was told that I will be contacted. To date I have called the customer care number in excess of 8 times over this period. In addition, I sent two emails as well. I am then given a new reference number with each contact from my side and told that the matter has been escalated. To date I have not been contacted and keep being assured that the escalated matter will be looked into as the warehouse must contact me. We are now over a month from the date of the order being placed. As a first-time customer this is totally appalling as far as service goes and getting a resolution. Boardmans need to rectify this asap as money was spent only to receive broken items and then being promised to be contacted with no outcome thus far.
