Deposit

This is a fair and urgent warning about Boardwalk estate to all future residents. If you want to be ****med and taken for granted, then is the place to rent from. When we starting renting from them they promised the moon and the stars, yet never delivered. We moved in and the place was not in a very livable state. There were ****roaches in all the cupboards, so badly infested that they got into all our monthly grocerries. We asked them to do something about it, and they promised to send someone out, and till the day we moved out, they never sent anyone. We needed to take it into our own hands to get rid of the ****roaches (not even one or two , but a whole infestation, and we were never informed about this prior to moving in). We did all the maintenance in the house, putting tiles into the bathroom, painting the flat which they promised they will reimburse (as they promised to do this before we moved in, yet they never did). Lastly, we have already moved out in December and till today we have not received our deposit, and there was nothing wrong with the place. In fact, in the words of the owner, when we moved out, said, “You gave the place back in a much better condition than what we gave it to you”, so why not give back our deposit? They have been promising for months, and even lying saying they paid our deposit back in, however till today there has not been a payment reflecting in our accounts? In this week they once again promised that a payment was made, yet nothing reflecting in our accounts. These People are such ****mers and a big RED flag. Do not ever rent through them. They will **** and ***** you out of your money, you pay a deposit and do maintenance and you will never see that money ever again. They ***** from people and target desperate renters looking for a place to rent. They are unreliable and selfish. Please do not rent through Boardwalk Estates, they will rob you from a lot.
