Debited even though contract was cancelled

<p>Dear All</p> <p>i need some advise or assistance on the below.</p> <p>i signed up for a contract at body guru in umhlanga and i was told it will only be confirmed once i pay a joining fee.</p> <p>i called in a coupe days later and spoke to a lady that initially assisted me and i told her to please cancel my contract as it was not feesable to me and she said no problem that its done.</p> <p>so i get debited this morning by body guru and they tell me that they cannot refund me because the lady that assisted me has left the company and that the policy was that i needed to email. If i was not briefed on this process how would i have known.</p> <p> </p> <p>please can someone advise me on this as i need some assistance.</p> <p> </p> <p>thank You</p>
