hi! I have a complaint about my last bolt food order #FY8EFI ordered food in the restaurant 500 meters from my house. When the order was ready, the courier arrived at the restaurant and was waiting for 1 hour (!) in the restaurant (probably for the second order). After that, he couldn't find my home (although I wrote my address very accurately and in detail). So I was waiting for my order for 1.5 hours AFTER the order was completely ready! And maybe 2 hours in common. I would like to remind u, that the restaurant is in 500 meters from my home. Second, i asked for refund in bolt support, because after 2 hours we were not needed in this food, we were forced to prepare some food by ourselves. But your support declined my request, was answered for a really long time and in the end stopped to answer at all. So, provide me full refund for this #FY8EF order.

I've been using the service for years and it often dissatisfies with long deliveries, the food comes cold! Just last time I've checked, the food was not picked up for 27 minutes. In total, it was cooling down for 45 minutes until the delivery was finished. Previously Bolt support could spare 1 or 2 euros as a compensation, but right now it does not even respond in the first hour, nor give any compensation. The support specialist refuse to give out any information where I could file an official complaint. Surprisingly enough, I've just noticed higher service fairs - they are different for each restaurant, I've even noticed a1.59 euro charge! Previously there was a base of 0.09eu service fee.

This is one of the worst food delivery service provider period. I ordered KFC from Bolt Food on the 26th of November 2023 and this was never delivered to me but was recorded as delivered. I made follow up and lodged a complaint and was told th driver completed the delivery before actually making the delivery. I requested a refund and was promised same would be processed in 14 business days. Surprisingly no refund was effected. I had to make additional follow ups and really they took me for a fool and promised me I'd be refunded again. I mean it's been since the 26th of November and nothing has happened. It's a pity I now have to refer a dispute to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman in order to enforce my refund for a mere amount of above R300. I for one am dismayed by the lack of professionalism even when dealing with my complaint. The non compliance with their own time frames shows how poorly the business is operated and shows no audits take place. Everyone please save yourself by not ordering from Bolt Food, rather go for Mr D or Uber eats you will not regret. Company like Bolt food has no regard for customers, doesn't value your money and to say the least is by far the worst you could find. I'd never order hear period. I hope you don't too.

Thursday evening I made an online order for food to be delivered to my place, the nearest KFC was PAN in Alexandra, however it took over an hour and then they cancelled my order while waited for over an hour starving. I decided to place another one using Bolt Food from KFC in Lyndhurst, the delivery guys was coming from Sandton, on the GPS tracker he was in one place for a good 45 min without moving, I asked support to change the driver or cancel my order again since Its almost 2 hours waiting for food. I went to buy food, and told Bolt Support to cancel the order as its not required since I lost interest, after 3 hours I got a notification to say the order was delivered. I phoned the driver and he advised me that the support team told him its cancelled, but funny thing is on the app its said that its delivered. When I inquired with Bolt Food support, they told me the food was never delivered, and thats the end, nothing about my refund, I am still waiting for my refund of R268. I sent multiple emails and no one bothers to come back to me.

I bought food from Bolt Food yesterday and the restaurant made some mistake and they called me to rectify the issue and I was fine with it and then the driver accepted my order and went to collect the order and the restaurant informed him they made a mistake and they are trying to replace the order but the driver forced things and take that original order which was suppose to be changed and he was suppose to come to me to deliver but the driver never delivered the food so what he did was to confirm the delivery of order on the Bolt Food App of something he never did and when I call him he never answered my calls and sms to find out what happened and then I informed Bolt Food of the issue I encountered but they never tried to assist me or to find out what happened and why the driver took my food which he never delivered….Bolt is just useless and they don’t assist the customers to fix issues and such things resulted in me loosing money and I don’t recommend anyone using their platform as they are useless and their drivers are not trustworthy as they lie about delivering things they didn’t so they can take the food for themselves

I ordered food from Burger king for R271. The order was never delivered and i still have not received my refund. They kept on saying they will refund in 3-10 days. I am still waiting for my refund and it has been weeks now.

Good day, I ordered take away food on the Bolt App 12:45 pm today to my surprise the driver who seemed to be extremely lost called me twice asking for my address (insisted me the customer provide the takeaway address to him where he should have collected at and have known) which was on the app btw as I have been a client for maybe 2 years or more. When I confirmed after 2 hours, I have not received the parcel - Winston - the consultant insisted that I am billed as I did not provide correct information??? and then refuse to provide a credit - (even though his colleague agreed to pass a credit on my profile now such disrespect is the very reason service lacks in this county and from here he refuses to respond after the money was debited off the account and I have not received the order, so please Winston who is actively engaging via the Bolt App and clearly lacks manners - first check and investigate details before you make decisions - this is not on and this is not how business is done - I work from home and nobody was in front of my house delivering, I asked for his manager to call back and he does not want me to chat to his manager.
