We made a booking through Book.direct in January 2023 for 5 nights at Kruger Gate Hotel in May 2023 and paid R10 500 in full for this booking. A few days before we were supposed to check in we received an email from Michael Swart informing us that he was unable to pay for this booking as his bank accounts were frozen . After many empty promises and sad stories we lost our booking/ holiday. Then followed empty promises to refund us. Several weeks later we have received no refund and Michael Swart is no longer responding to any emails we send him in this regard. Definitely a company to avoid.
