We went for the burger special last night @ Paarl Bossa.
Complaint was written on the slip so here it is again:
Tables not wiped. When wiped its with a cloth only no sanitizer sprayed on tables. Menus dirty and sticky. Black peper grinder broken, whne I used it it cracked and cut my skin. No apology when we went in and told them and asked for a new grinder. Salt shaker has old dried ketchup on - not cleaned. Chilli bottles dirty - not wiped clean. Condiment stand dirty. Chip basket cracked and chipped all around. Asked for bill 3 times. When we finally got it, no one assisted with payment where we had to get up walk inside where again no one assisted. So we paid and left bill with money on counter (staff was visible just no one decided to assist). No social distancing enforced outside. Children running between tables with no face masks on.
We do come to Bossa allot so know how the food has to be. If there's 3 onion rings on a plate everytime why did one Plat get one and the smallest one with 90% dough. Just a simple example.
I do realize that it's hard times we all find ourselves in, but this should not affect service delivery as I, myself, work in hospitality.
