R150,000 in Damages due to flood damage cause by Bouw Plumbing
Worst Experience - Spare yourself, there are many good plumbers in Cape Town. Bouw Plumbing attended to my premises in Camps Bay on instruction from the rental agents. Steven the owner attended the work, then became "too busy" to finish the job and sent his apprentice. The apprentice failed to block off an outlet pipe and the premises flooded damaging more than R150,000.00 of my assets. When held liable for the flood, and especially since an apprentice worked on the job instead of the Plumber, and his false allegation he told us not to use the plumbing, with no written document to prove his perjury. We have now claimed from our insurance company, which are likely to sue him. We will be approaching Pam Golding, the regulators and employing further efforts to hold Steven and his wife and his company liable for their unethical approach to damages caused and liability taken. Shame of you Steven, your company is a sad disappointment, as you are in business. I can only hope my review helps others, not expose themselves to this outfit.
