Dear Bardlows Team,
I hope you are well. I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the couches I purchased in August 2025, which were delivered on 28 August 2025. Upon delivery, the couches were visibly damaged with multiple dents. I immediately took photos and showed them to the delivery team on the same day.
I reported the issue to your Benoni branch, and they arranged for the couches to be collected and sent to the warehouse for review. Two weeks later, on 15 September, your team arrived for collection. However, they claimed they were unable to remove the couches due to the doorway and space constraints. This is confusing, as the couches were successfully delivered into my home initially—yet when returning them, it suddenly became an issue.
During that visit, one of my hair appliances was also accidentally damaged by your team.
It has now been weeks with no communication or resolution from your side. The couches are sitting unused and covered in my home, and I am still being billed monthly for items I cannot use. This is unacceptable and extremely frustrating, especially considering I paid over R20,000 for these couches and they were delivered in damaged condition.
I urgently request one of the following resolutions:
Immediate replacement with couches of my choice of equal value, OR
Cancellation of my contract with no further charges.
Please treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and revert back to me as soon as possible.
