Dress was torn and soiled. Had to pay myself for dry cleaning.

The dress I ordered because I stay in Bloemfontein was torn and dirty. I ordered it and I received it with courier. I contacted them and they told me they will have it dry cleaned as soon as the alterations get done. I bought a dress that was on sale. No one told me at the time that the dress looks like plenty of brides previously got married in it. I contacted Bride and Co and they assured me that the dress was never been worn before even though it looked like the dress had been worn and torn and very dirty at the bottom. Make-up stains and torn at the back. I decided to drive from bloem to jhb to get it sorted out and tailord. To my surprise they told me I am responsible for the dry cleaning and must pay them to get it dry cleaned. Isnt a wedding dress supposed to be dry cleaned before they sell it? Or when its sold? The alterations was done wrong or the dress had shrunk with the dry cleaning. It were a big mess because of this dress that was fitted and worn!! Not by me.. it was streched and they took my measurements and after that they dry cleaned it. I had to pay for a courier again and then in 1 week the dress was too small!! I had to pay again in Bloem for alterations. I will never recommend anyone to them. Never. It cost me a fortune when it was supposed to cost me only the price on the dress. I believe that dress was worn previously. I asked them if they rented out the dress and the told me no. Its only new dresses. Could have fooled me!! That dress was worn previously. Which bride and co branch floor will be so dirty to get a dress so soiled by just fitting a dress in the dressing room?
