Working for Briefly News has got to be the worst nightmare ever. Not only do they treat their writers like slaves but will go as far as not paying their salaries. As a writer you are expected to perform miracles, sleep at 2am and wake up at 5am to even come close to meeting their never-ending demands. In the hiring stages, they portray this super-friendly environment, contrary to what they are truly about. You literally have no life, you live and breathe Briefly News. I kid you not when I say there’s someone leaving the company every week. The depression, the anxiety, the pressure, the stress, (the list is endless) are unfathomable. They prey on people who are desperate for jobs, drive them to insanity and then refuse to pay what’s due to them (don’t even get me started about their salary). It’s really unfortunate that human beings are subjected to such, all in the name of being able to put food on the table. How does one sleep at night exploiting people at this degree?? If you consume news from their platforms then you’re unfortunately part of the problem 💔
