Shocking Service from BIR
Can't get any worse.... Partial container to be sent overseas and promised shipping within 3-4 months. No shipping whatsoever for 8 months and since we still in SA I decided to add more items to the original shipping to fill up a container and allegedly get it shipped immediately. I waited for 6 weeks for a quote and didn't receive one (clearly not interested in business). Hence I decided to get my goods returned and use another company, ended up getting a very small refund out of all the money I paid. I pretty much paid to have some of my furniture going on holiday in BIR warehouse. On returns of my goods 1 cabinet was damaged the claim was submitted but guess what no paid... It can't get any worse... I could say you can find better shipping companies but I should say any shipping company is better than BIT

We used BIR's services to move our items from South Africa to Morocco. Everything was packed on December 9, 2025, and after two months of excuses or no responses to our emails, we're now faced with the problem/excuse that they couldn't ship due to the war in the Middle East. This is a clear example of incompetence and bad faith. I wonder if our goods will ever be shipped, or if this tactic will simply result in us paying for a service we'll never receive, and losing all our goods.

10/10 would recommend!
Thank you Ben and BIR for your understanding and putting our family’s heart at ease. Adam, Gift and their fab teams packed up our home almost two years ago, and placed our belongings in storage for our relocation to Portugal. Unfortunately, after our immigration process failed, Ben understood the circumstances and arranged for our belongings to be moved from JHB to Waterfall Durban. They were minor breakages like glasses but we were trying our luck as we knew they wouldn’t last the move to Portugal. Again thank you to BIR and their amazing teams for taking such good care of me and my family. 10/10 service and would recommend over and over again!
