Eskom ****

This 'company' tried to **** us claiming to be a collections company appointed by Eskom to collect R14k of arrears. They said if we didn't settle immediately or make a Payment Arrangement, a summons would be issued.

We contacted Eskom and asked for a statement of account showing all payment over the last year. This was issued to us and and the statement showed our account was up to date and no amounts were outstanding.

I then contacted the 'attorney' in BTF Global who referred us to 'a collections clerk' in Eskom's Bellville offices who confirmed the same arrear amount claimed by BTF.

It turned out to be a **** supported by an Eskom employee. Be careful, it was very convincing.
