BudgetAir is the worst travel agents ever, that will cost you a lot of time and patience

One of the worst experiences I had with a travel agent ever. I would suggest when planning on doing any traveling do not make any rash decisions, actually putting a little thought into which travel agent you choose if any will make your life a whole lot better. I made the mistake of purchasing airline tickets through budgetAir for Qatar airlines to fly from South Africa to Cancun thinking that I caught a deal of a life time and boy did they prove me wrong. First off for unforeseen reasons I had problems with esta so found I couldn’t fly with Qatar airlines because apparently Qatar airlines only does layovers in the U.S., so I had to cancel my flight therefore canceling my tickets. Since I didn’t pay the extra cost for canceling tickets I ended paying more then half of what tickets cost to cancel my tickets, which you live and you learn. Now here’s where my problem with BudgetAir comes into play, first apparently there is no phone number so that you can call if you have an issue you need resolved quickly, so pretty much anything you need help with happens through there not so reliable messaging service, secondly even though they take their money for canceling your tickets with ease, getting a refund for the little change that you have left is like pulling teeth. So if you think they would they would have any sympathy with your situation, I’m here to let you know that they won’t. It takes them 4-8 weeks to process your refund and get you your money back. So whoever thinks they’re getting a deal by purchasing cheap tickets through BudgetAir, please do your research before you do. I’m living proof that everything that’s cheap don’t end up being cheap at all. And until this day I still haven’t received my refund. Thanks for nothing BudgetAir
