Stolen Deposit for Pool Renovation
On 19/09/14 I Jacques van Wyk, owner of Marble a Pool (Pty) Ltd. [URL Removed] Colour Pools [URL Removed] Build a Pool Pty Ltd [URL Removed] Nova Pools [URL Removed] and All Green Energy Pools quote to marbelite my swimming pool. <br> Quote: Drain pool R570. Remove fibreglass R570. Prepare for marbelite R570. Marbelite pool 15960. Startup chemicals R456. Jacque completed the first 3 tasks, which according to quote, cost R1710. He asked me on 1/11/14 to pay the full amount as well. I did not. <br> Jacque then disappeared, and refused to answer any calls, emails, or text messages from me, my tenant Nicole, and my estate agent. I wrote a review on www.hellopeter.com about his non-delivery and refusing to answer any communication.<br> I asked Jacque to rather return the monies he still owes me from the R10000 deposit (Ie. R10000-R1710 = R8290). <br> His response:<br> From: Marble Lite (sent my [Email Removed]<br> Hi Martin. Your reports on hellopeter makes me look like a thief, why bother. The damage is lready done. Best regards Jacques.<br> He is a liar and thief.<br>

Build A Pool - be careful when dealing with them
Hi,<br> <br> Jacques from Build a Pool had a contract with myself to build my pool in June2014. There were continuous delays with delivery where he kept blaming suppliers but he was not paying suppliers even thorugh I paid him timeously. He did not pay his workers on time and his employee subsequently damaged my pool in July after the marbelite had been done (I am not sure how knowlegable he is w.r.t. pools but he also did not get the marbelite colour right ). Since then he has ducked and dived and avoided me even though the majority of his fee had been paid. He has not come back to this day and made any reparations or completed the pool in question. He also had the odacity to tell me that there was nothing I could do to him. I would severely question how much trust and integrity I can place on a contract set up with this company.<br> <br> Regards<br> Extremely unhappy client
