Food Poisoning from Burger and Lobster Bree street Cape Town

Went to Burger and Lobster for my sisters birthday on the 30th of August. Woke up the next morning very ill with food poisoning as the doctor diagnosed me with. I sent Burger and Lobster an email telling them my situation and said at the end hopefully this email helps them resolve the issue and not make anyone else sick. They wrote back taking zero accountability and telling me that their is a virus going around (COVID). I had to get tested the next day to return to work as I work with people and my test was Negative. Four people at our table felt ill that night or the next day and they turn around and say its covid. So disappointed as our bill was 3k and the restaurant can't take any accountability! quite disgusted. I would not recommend this restaurant as I got ill with food poisoning and will definitely not return due to their lack of accountability.
