I have an account with Vodacom that was handed over to this company for collection, even though I made every attempt to make payment arrangements with Vodacom to get my account on track. Every month I just make direct payment to Vodacom and not to BRAA, I check my credit report on Experian every month without fail to check my balance on my Vodacom account and that is the amount i am going to pay. After speaking to lady by the name Alicia from BRAA and her advising me of my account balance owed which is R3000 plus more than that on my credit report, mind you she is not sending me formal statement to see payments made and balance to go, as they receive my POP from Vodacom. She keeps telling me about Balance of contract added fees by Vodacom and legal fees that don't show on my credit report, but she is not aware that I have already received a final statement from Vodacom and the BOC is all inclusive in that statement. I have sent her that statement from Vodacom with my credit report balance to go and advised them that I will contact my legal advisor at scorpion legal if I don't get me a proper statement with payments and balance to go. these debt collection companies are trying to milk us. I will not play that game with them because I don't have money to waste. Vodacom subscriber collections is a waste of time because they don't response to emails and that how my account got handed over, which I would also like to take that matter further as I have all the emails, I sent asking them to start a debt order again to which I got no response.
