We waited 35min for a village breakfast. It was the first time since going to the Cafe we had to wait so long. Lungi the waitress not once checked up on us. And was quite upset for not getting a huge tip. The coffee was weak and without flavour. She also gave us the last bit of coffee in the pot. I'm not happy will not be going back to that place.

Had a terrible experience now today at Cafe Capellini at Walmer Park Shopping Center. First off my Fiance got a coffee with almond milk, it was cold by the time it got to her, great on our waitress for catching that before we did. Second off, we waited nearly an hour for our food - 2 Early Worm breakfasts - while other people have come and gone. When we got our food, I started with the tomato, it was heated in a microwave. My Fiance started with some egg and toast first and it was heated in the microwave, and tasted like it had been standing for a while. The thing that drove us to this review, the bread had a piece of cheese stuck to the back of it. That is a major health hazard as the bread was _not_ freshly cut, it may or may not have been someone else's bread they didn't finish or was standing around who knows where. Honestly this place should be shut down as this is a major health violation. Go somewhere else.

I'm a Mystery Shopper, hoping to allow us the Customer to receive better and more pleasant shopping experiences from Retail Businesses. Sir, there is an incredible amount of retail stores that lose unrecoverable returns, and the managers are puzzled as to why. Sir, you cannot be in all places or notice what kind of service or attitude is displayed to your customer. I'll take this opportunity to illustrate an experience I had one morning at Capellini in Walmer Park Mall. Neelam Matthews was the Waitress for our table. She was friendly, polite and serviced with a smile, asked how she was able to assist. She told us that they have a Breakfast special for Pensioners or if we cared to look at the menu, they have a variety of specials. I gave the order and told her that I would like to have it within an hour if that could be arranged as I have an appointment. She smiled with an assurance that she'd explain to the kitchen. After immediately delivering the order to the Kitchen, she returned saying that the kitchen had no problem with that request. She asked if we'd like Caffee-Tea and perhaps read the Herald while we waited. In the meantime, she cheerfully attended to customers. Within 1\2 hour she set the table. we had assistance from other colleagues to deliver our Breakfast. Wow! A remarkable service. The Manager kept a careful eye on the service his customers received whilst he (Morne) was in and out of the kitchen. Customer Management and care by the Waitress/Waiters set this Restaurant one to be noted.

As usual, after being seated waitress advises pizza special, buy one get one free. We ordered our drinks and pizza. My husband finished his, I had 2 squares left and asked if I could take it with. The waitress advised immediately that they do not allow left over take away. cannot understand why, It was not eat as much as you can. Another time, after our meal, the waitress asked if we would like to finish off with the cake special with cappuccino, i couldn't finish the cappuccino so i told my husband to finish it the waitress came to our table after speaking to the manager and told us we cannot share specials!!!! Always loved going to this coffee shop as it is in our area and supporting our local shops, but with the new management and rules, we won't be going back anytime soon.
