The manager is TERRIBLE

If I could give it 0 stars I would!!!! On 15 May 2021 - myself and 3 friends decided to go to Cafe extrablatt for supper (our normal hang out spot) I ordered their well known pork belly with green beans and Mash, after 30 minutes I finally received my order.... Guess what? - The pork belly was over cooked and dried out , it was so hard my knife couldn’t even cut through it, I raised my concern with the waiter as this would be the second time I had their pork belly and normally its very nice, the waiter told me that’s how it is made and he doesn’t see anything wrong with it, I asked him to taste and he refused - he then called the senior manager who came to our table...I informed the manager about the pork belly and guess what he told me...HE SAID THAT THATS HOW THEY NORMALLY MAKE IT , HE SAID IT LOOKS FINE. I THEN TOLD HIM THAT THERE IS NO WAY I AM GONNA EAT IT - AFTER GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES FOR ALMOST 20 MINUTES HE ADVISED THAT THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO AND THAT IT LOOKS FINE. I mean come on!!!! YOU NEVER EVEN TASTED THE PORK BELLY. HE WENT ROUND AND ROUND SAYING THAT I HAVE TO EAT IT OR NOT EAT IT, I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE MEAL...I expected him to either notify the chef and replace the plate or offer me an alternative, but instead he said that he will suffer a loss if he replaces my plate or give me an alternative meal. In summary, I had to pay for my plate (R129) and only had one fork of the mash and a small piece of the pork belly. I asked him to take the plate back to the kitchen and seeing that we haven’t reach a conclusion I will not eat the pork belly. The manager has been known for having an attitude with the guests. Very unprofessional and I mean as a regular at Extrablatt I would’ve never expected this from the SENIOR MANAGER - his name is Donald The least he could of done was given me an option I think he has to go for training on how to deal with complaints. I paid for the meal without even eating it. I WILL NEVER SET MY FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN! Guys please don’t go to extrablatt , clearly they have no people skills and doesn’t give a damn. I was basically told to eat the food as he doesn’t see anything wrong with the meal - I mean come on you haven’t even tried it. I’m very disappointed !!!
