cafe Manhattan Green Point Review awesome place
I recently visited Manhattan in Green Point and I honestly had such a lovely experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious, and everything arrived on time, fresh and well prepared. Their drinks are also amazing — the ****tails are truly made the way a ****tail should be, full of flavour and perfectly balanced. I also loved the buy one, get one free ****tail special, which made the experience even better. What made the visit extra special was the service. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very professional. This was my first time taking my partner there, and they made us feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Manhattan is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great food, good vibes, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back again.

Hats off to Cafe ManHATtan
This was the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! The food was incredible, I wanted to kiss the Chef and would gladly carry his children! ;) The fish was fresh, the chips crispy and the lovely waiters were just on point! Kind, polite and so efficient! I have never seen waiters walk that fast, especially since we are used to waiters taking a nice stroll while you wait for your food. I get wet just thinking about the food... Oops, that came out wrong: what I mean is that my mouth is watering just thinking about the food... Gotta go guys, you have made me ravenous just thinking about you ;p

Hats off to Cafe ManHATtan
This was the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant! Crap service
I was totally appalled by the poor service we received at Caf? Manhattans. Invited my foreign friends over for drinks that heard such good reviews over this establishment, I took them, however turned into a crap experience with a cocky barman with bad attitude. Firstly had to wait forever at bar and fellow patrons that was standing next to me made comment that I been standing forever to get service while people that came afterwards was helped first. At this point I thought don't wanna spoil a good eve with friends I haven't seen in years. Eventually I got served and one of drinks I ordered was glass of white wine, still talking to barman, he turned around poured drink, when I ask if it's dry or semi sweet, he abruptly mention that if glass ordered it's semi sweet. Giving me a lecture on cultivars of wine I said cancel the order and we left to go to Piano Bar, where we received excellent service and glad we left Manhattans! Never to return to this restaurant ever again!

TERRIBLE FOOD
CAFE MANHATTAN - after waiting one hour for our food, it arrived, filled with salt, pepper and a Malasan spice with exactly the same taste to the chips, onion rings and burger - it was horrible, didn't eat the onion rings at all, only a few chips and didn't finish either of the burgers. Worst food in Cape Town.
