Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to report Mr Tashriq Ahmed, who failed to provide immigration services to my cousin when he was arrested in Cape Town refugee home affairs while applying for asylum. We were advised to contact Mr Tashriq as an advocate who would assist us with the matter. He showed interest and made us believe that he would deal with everything and get my cousin sorted from court. However, on the day of the court appearance, Mr Tashriq did not show up to defend his client and started making up stories that he was in Johannesburg. He charged an upfront fee R17000, which I have proof of payment for and asked for my money back as my cousin received an order from the court that he must be deported because Mr Tashriq never attended and defended his matter.
When I asked for my money back, Mr Tashriq started swearing at me, threatening that I am a foreign national and that the law will stand up with him. He boasted that he has ****med many Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Egyptian, and poor African nationals who are trying to live an honest life in South Africa.
I am requesting that the Cape Law Society takes serious action against Mr Tashriq Ahmed, so that we can save innocent people from his trap.
Regards, Asif
