Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to formally complain to Tashriq Ahmed, a suspended attorney, for his ********* and *****ulent conduct. I engaged Mr. Ahmed's services to assist me with my Cousin's bail from home Affairs as he was arrested with an Expired Document Despite charging me a substantial fee, it has come to my attention that he was suspended at the time he provided legal services to me and failed to take any actions toward to get bail from court for my cousin. I have filed a complaint against him with the relevant authorities 3 months ago. In a deeply concerning turn of events, Mr. Ahmed has threatened me with repercussions, He will sue me if he loses his career but I have paid his fees while he was already suspended I am fully committed to living an honest life in South Africa, which is why I sought legal assistance in the first place for my cousin. However, Mr. Ahmed's behavior has been nothing short of despicable and has left me feeling vulnerable and exploited. It has come to my attention that Mr. Ahmed is currently operating from his office on the 12th Floor, 8 Riebeek St, Cape Town. 2nd Office 9 b*****k road langebergridge Kraaifontien I trust that the Law Society will take appropriate action to investigate these serious allegations and ensure that justice is served. I kindly request your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response regarding the steps that will be taken to address this grievance. Thank you for your time and assistance. Yours faithfully, Asif Khan

Dear Law Society, I am writing to report an incident involving Tashriq Ahmed, who charged me R17000 on 16th April 2024 to handle my cousin Zeeshan Rafiq's case. Zeeshan was arrested at Refugee Home Affairs in Cape Town and someone recommended Tashriq Ahmed's services to us. However, I later found out that Tashriq Ahmed had been suspended in November 2023 and failed to show up for the court date. When I asked him to refund my money due to his lack of professional services, he began threatening me. In response, I reported his behavior on Hellopeter for his unprofessionalism and mistreatment of clients. Now he is threatening legal action against me, claiming that his career has been ruined because of my actions. Given that Tashriq Ahmed was already involved in ********* practices prior to this incident, it raises concerns about why he is still allowed to practice law after being suspended. He has a history of providing *****ulent documents and overcharging clients before deporting them. I kindly request that you investigate this matter further and take appropriate action against Tashriq Ahmed for his misconduct. It is important to protect the rights of individuals seeking legal assistance from such dishonest practitioners. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Asif Khan

Good day, Law Society, I am submitting a complaint regarding Tashriq Ahmed, who operates the law firm of Ahmed & Associates. I hired him to assist with obtaining a work permit. Initially, he charged R5000 upfront and promised that the remainder would be paid once the permit was issued. However, he retained my passport for three months and claimed that he was busy handling my case. When I urgently needed my passport to travel to Johannesburg, I requested its return and inquired about the progress of my application. He failed to provide a satisfactory response. Upon further investigation, I discovered that Mr. Tashriq Ahmed was suspended last November. It is concerning that he accepted my case despite his suspended status and has yet to make any progress on my work permit application. I am now seeking a refund of the fees paid. I kindly request that you take appropriate action against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed for his failure to fulfill his obligations and return my funds. Sincerely, Harold

Subject: Complaint Against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed of Ahmed & Associates To the Law Society of South Africa, I am writing to file a complaint against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed, an immigration lawyer or consultant at Ahmed & Associates. I hired him to remove me from the V-List, and he assured me that he would resolve the matter through Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi and Matthew Modiri, who work at Home Affairs. However, he charged me R17500, which is more than half of his fee, with the rest to be paid after obtaining the clearance certificate. He sent me several appointment letters and a waiver certificate containing the details of Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi and Matthew Modiri. Upon contacting Mr. Mzukisi Witbooi, he confirmed that the letters were not issued by him and that he has no involvement with the V-List. I have lodged complaints forms against the lawyer along with all evidence. I am requesting the Law Society to take serious action against Mr. Tashriq Ahmed for misusing the details of Home Affairs officials and falsely claiming that these officials are involved in resolving his clients' matters. Sincerely, M. Riaz

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to report Mr Tashriq Ahmed, who failed to provide immigration services to my cousin when he was arrested in Cape Town refugee home affairs while applying for asylum. We were advised to contact Mr Tashriq as an advocate who would assist us with the matter. He showed interest and made us believe that he would deal with everything and get my cousin sorted from court. However, on the day of the court appearance, Mr Tashriq did not show up to defend his client and started making up stories that he was in Johannesburg. He charged an upfront fee R17000, which I have proof of payment for and asked for my money back as my cousin received an order from the court that he must be deported because Mr Tashriq never attended and defended his matter. When I asked for my money back, Mr Tashriq started swearing at me, threatening that I am a foreign national and that the law will stand up with him. He boasted that he has ****med many Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Indian, Egyptian, and poor African nationals who are trying to live an honest life in South Africa. I am requesting that the Cape Law Society takes serious action against Mr Tashriq Ahmed, so that we can save innocent people from his trap. Regards, Asif

Ahmed Associates is a ****ming an immigration lawyer or consultant company where Tashreeq Ahmed is charging money in advance from Poor Foreign Nationals Residents in Cape Town for Applying for work or business permits but he is doing absolutely nothing just wasting their time. When the client asks for money back he threatens them very badly and asks them to be quiet otherwise he will open a case against the client or call an immigration officer to deport the client.

This review pertaining to the unfair practice where people in debt will never see daylight. There are law firms that are misusing the law. I am dealing with a firm relating to school fees where I make monthly payments but have never received a statement from them so I have no idea what I owe. If I pay late I get a notice that the sheriff is on his way.who So is this legal? What are my rights? I am sure I am not the only person with this issue. Help us as I feel we will never see daylight. Regards Leslin
