Be careful what you are covered for and what they deem to be good. My wife had a back operation and since then her mobility is limited meaning she cannot walk without a walker. Discovery paid for rehab but despite the reports from professionals they refused her a walker and a wheelchair. There is something called PMB "Prescribed Minimum Benefits" but if they decide it is not then they will not assist you. Now we are left with a massive bill for pills R2k+ a month and they refuse to pay for physio. Meaning that you are left traumatized and no help.
I was called stating I am a valued customer and wanted to offer me a discount. Now I have a higher bill not caring if I can afford it. The recordings will show if they have it that they offered discount. This has me sick to my stomach. This was my last renewal and I am done with Vodacom. People plek be aware.
When blood is sent to the lab you get a form with codes and have no clue what you will be billed for. After it you receive the bill and just have to pay. The form should have amounts next to the test to allow the person to make an informed decision as this can be costly. When you have a debt and it is handed over and you request a monthly statement can they withhold that and can they add costs if you honour the agreement.
This review pertaining to the unfair practice where people in debt will never see daylight. There are law firms that are misusing the law. I am dealing with a firm relating to school fees where I make monthly payments but have never received a statement from them so I have no idea what I owe. If I pay late I get a notice that the sheriff is on his way.who So is this legal? What are my rights? I am sure I am not the only person with this issue. Help us as I feel we will never see daylight. Regards Leslin
Good Day To All interested I was a cell c customer and in September 2019 paid off all 5 contracts I had with them but I must state before that I missed some payments. I was given a settlement amount and paid it. I then had to suffer to get a paid up. I am unsure what the law states but I am sure that once the payment was received they had a time frame to update the data at the Transunion but this after months have not been done and I am stuck.
I left my previous employer for a new position with a new company. So I withdrew from discovery and rejoined with the new employer. When with with the previous company I contributed more then 6k PM on medical aid. And got a 16k savings account. As in have a family of 5 we used that within the first few months as I am also a diabetic. So for the last 2 months all expenses were out of pocket. Then I was told that I owe them more the R7000 now still because I withdrew and to make it even better because I dispute it I have been listed on ITC for a letter of demand. But I have never received a letter of demand from them. So how does that work? How do you list someone stating that you have given them a letter of demand and that have not seen it?
This company is not playing fair and people need to make sure that as an individual or working for a company they know what they get into with them. They make millions of people and provide nothing unless you end up in hospital but nothing is returned to you if you don't.
